Shaffer Communication was originally started in the mid 1960s and was purchased from the original owner in 1991. Since that time we have expanded to include not only Radio Communication products, but also Satellite radio/phones with push to talk by Skyterra, Red/Blue Lights for Police, Fire and Emergency Vehicles, Adrian Truck/Van bins, shelves and ladder racks, and The Shaffer Tracker, a local and Nation Wide GPS/AVL Fleet Vehicle Tracking solution. We also have constructed a Wide Area Private Channel Trunking System covering Lancaster and Gage Counties in Nebraska. In addition to maintaining privately owned repeaters, we also maintain many Government owned repeaters all across eastern Nebraska.
